We don’t really want to toot our own horn,. but we were called 'one of the best beads stores on this or any other planet' by the Boston Beaddesigner International newsletter in spring 1995. And we have only gotten better since!

We have a huge selection of trade beads from Africa. Even the African bead traders drool when they look into our trade bead case. For special collector beads, check out our gallery. But we also have gemstones, silver, gold and vermeil, Czech glass, both modern and vintage in many shapes, styles and colors, including an ever growing supply of Swarovski crystal. Wood, ceramic, natural seeds, brass and nickel beads, and many ethnic beads are also available.

Of course we carry seed beads, 6/0 and 11/0 Czech, French, 8/0 11/0 and 13/0 , Japanese antique Toho beads and 15/0 hexes, as well as 13/0 charlotte cuts and 9/0 3 cuts. Lampwork, dichroic and handmade furnace glass beads are here, as well as glass beads from India, China, Venice, Japan, West Germany, Austria, Indonesia, etc., etc.

If you think how long it’s taking me to write about it, think how long it’ll take you to look around the store. Many of our customers are here for hours! Then they take a break, go next door to the King Avenue Coffeehouse for a cappucino, and come back for more shopping!
